Future Science Group Preserves with the CLOCKSS Archive

The CLOCKSS Archive is pleased to announce that it has partnered with the Future Science Group (FSG) to preserve their epublications in CLOCKSS’s geographically and geopolitically distributed network of redundant archive nodes, located at 12 major research libraries around the world. The Future Science Group includes three imprints – Expert Reviews, Future Medicine and Future Science – with an expanding portfolio of fifty journals plus an ebook program. By archiving with CLOCKSS, FSG has committed to the preservation of their electronic publications. This action provides for content to be freely available to everyone after a “trigger event” and ensures an author’s work will be maximally accessible and useful over time.

FSG Publisher, Elisa Manzotti, said “The Future Science Group is delighted to partner with the CLOCKSS Archive to ensure absolutely the availability of the valuable contributions of our authors for posterity.”

CLOCKSS Executive Director Randy S. Kiefer adds, “The CLOCKSS Archive welcomes FSG ejournals and ebooks with their coverage of healthcare, biotechnology, chemistry, and environmental sciences. By archiving with CLOCKSS, FSG has ensured the survival of this research for future generations. We are grateful, as FSG joins the CLOCKSS Archive, for its generous willingness to preserve its ejournals and ebooks in a way that secures them for the long-term good of scholars worldwide.”
