The CLOCKSS Archive is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Ubiquity Press Ltd. to preserve their ejournals in CLOCKSS’s geographically and geopolitically distributed network of redundant archive nodes, located at 12 major research libraries around the world. By archiving with CLOCKSS, Ubiquity Press has committed to the preservation of their ejournals. This action provides for content to be freely available to everyone after a “trigger event” and ensures an author’s work will be maximally accessible and useful over time.
Brian Hole, Publisher at Ubiquity Press, notes, “As a researcher-led publisher, Ubiquity Press is delighted to be partnering with CLOCKSS. Our shared commitment to serving the needs of the research community makes this a natural partnership that will ensure our content remains freely available long into the future.”
CLOCKSS Executive Director Randy S. Kiefer adds, “The CLOCKSS Archive welcomes Ubiquity Press’s ejournals, which cover a wide range of academic topics, into the community’s archive. By archiving with CLOCKSS, Ubiquity Press has ensured that their publications will continue to remain widely available to the academic community in the future. We are grateful, as Ubiquity Press joins the CLOCKSS Archive, for its generous willingness to preserve its ejournals in a way that secures them for the long-term good of scholars worldwide.”
