The CLOCKSS Archive is pleased to announce that it has partnered with IWA Publishing to preserve their ejournals in CLOCKSS’s geographically and geopolitically distributed network of redundant archive nodes, located at 12 major research libraries around the world. This action provides for content to be freely available to everyone after a “trigger event” and ensures an author’s work will be maximally accessible and useful over time.
Michael Dunn, Managing Director of IWA Publishing, said: “As a subsidiary of the International Water Association (IWA), it is vital that we ensure the work published in our journals remains accessible to both the water community and the wider audience for research. The CLOCKSS Archive provides the resilience to guarantee accessibility to content in perpetuity.”
CLOCKSS Executive Director Randy S. Kiefer adds, “The CLOCKSS Archive welcomes IWA Publishing’s ejournals with their coverage of water, wastewater and related environmental fields, into the community’s archive. By archiving with CLOCKSS, IWA has ensured that the scholarship in their publications is secured for future generations of scholars.”
