Illiesia, the International Journal of Stonefly Research, Preserves with the CLOCKSS Archive

The CLOCKSS Archive is pleased to announce that Illiesia, the International Journal of Stonefly Research, is participating in the archive to preserve their ejournal in CLOCKSS’s geographically and geopolitically distributed network of redundant archive nodes, located at 12 major research libraries around the world. This action provides for content to be freely available to everyone after a “trigger event” and ensures an author’s work will be maximally accessible and useful over time.

“We are very pleased that Illiesia will be archived with the CLOCKSS organization. The security and long-term availability they provide is essential to our science,” Said Bill Stark, Editor.

CLOCKSS Executive Director Randy S. Kiefer adds, “The CLOCKSS Archive welcomes Illiesia with their coverage of biology of Plecoptera. into the community’s archive. By archiving with CLOCKSS, Illiesia has ensured that the scholarship in their publications will continue to be available to both scientific organizations and the general public now and in the future.”

Illiesia, the International Journal of Stonefly Research is an international on-line and printed journal published by Mississippi College and the Slovenian Museum of Natural History. It is freely available to individuals and institutions on the World Wide Web. No login or subscription is needed.http://www2.pms-lj.si/illiesia/index.html
