Journal of Insect Biodiversity Preserves with the CLOCKSS Archive

The CLOCKSS Archive is pleased to announce that the Journal of Insect Biodiversity (JIB) is participating in the archive to preserve their e-journal in CLOCKSS’s geographically and geopolitically distributed network of redundant archive nodes, located at 12 major research libraries around the world. This action provides for content to be freely available to everyone after a “trigger event” and ensures an author’s work will be maximally accessible and useful over time.

“We are pleased that Journal of Insect Biodiversity (JIB) will be archived with the CLOCKSS Archive” said Levent Gültekin, Managing Editor. “This will ensure to protect the content of the journal long-term and remain freely accessible online for all readers and authors.”

CLOCKSS Executive Director Randy S. Kiefer adds, “The CLOCKSS Archive welcomes the Journal of Insect Biodiversity with their coverage of insect biodiversity into the community’s archive. By archiving with CLOCKSS, JIB has ensured that the scholarship in their publications will continue to be available to as wide an audience as possible, now and in the future, and preserves the content in a way that secures it for the long-term good of scholars worldwide.”
