We have been on a steep learning curve to gather data and assess the carbon footprint of the CLOCKSS digital archive! We were invited to share the preliminary results of this initiative at a Digital Preservation Coalition webinar earlier this year, and ran a workshop with other digital preservation services at the iPres Conference in September. The output from this workshop is a more generalized model for digital preservation services that can help others map their carbon footprints too. Watch this space!
