The CLOCKSS Archive is pleased to announce that it has partnered with the Society for Longitudinal and Life Course Studies to preserve their ejournal, Longitudinal and Life Course Studies (LLCS) (www.llcsjournal.org) in CLOCKSS’s geographically and geopolitically distributed network of archive nodes, located at 12 major research libraries around the world. This action provides for content to be freely available to everyone after a “trigger event” and ensures an author’s work will be maximally accessible and useful over time.
“Archiving with CLOCKSS protects our journal and helps us meet our Open Access obligations,” states John Bynner, Executive Editor.
CLOCKSS Executive Director Randy S. Kiefer adds, “The CLOCKSS Archive welcomes the Society for Longitudinal and Life Course Studies’ ejournal, LLCS, with their coverage of social, developmental and health sciences into the community’s archive. By archiving with CLOCKSS, Society for Longitudinal and Life Course Studies has ensured that the scholarship in their publications will be available for a worldwide audience now and in the future, in a manner that secures them for the long-term good of scholars.”
