The CLOCKSS Archive is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Channel View Publications Ltd. to preserve their ebooks in CLOCKSS’s geographically and geopolitically distributed network of redundant archive nodes, located at 12 major research libraries around the world. By archiving with CLOCKSS, Channel View has committed to the preservation of their ebooks. This action provides for content to be freely available to everyone after a “trigger event” and ensures an author’s work will be maximally accessible and useful over time.
“Channel View Publications Ltd. and its imprint Multilingual Matters are delighted to collaborate with CLOCKSS to ensure that our ebook titles are archived and safe for the future” said Tommi Grover, Managing Director.
CLOCKSS Executive Director Randy S. Kiefer adds, “The CLOCKSS Archive welcomes Channel View’s ebooks with their coverage of multilingualism, language learning, translation, creative writing pedagogy, tourism and sustainability into the community’s archive. By archiving with CLOCKSS, Channel View has ensured that the scholarship in their publications will be available to everyone now and for years to come. We are grateful, as Channel View joins the CLOCKSS Archive, for its generous willingness to preserve its ejournals in a way that secures them for the long-term good of scholars worldwide.”
