General Healthcare Inc. Preserves with the CLOCKSS Archive

The CLOCKSS Archive is pleased to announce that it has partnered with General Healthcare Inc. to preserve their Science Postprint (SPP) in CLOCKSS’s geographically and geopolitically distributed network of redundant archive nodes, located at 12 major research libraries around the world. This action provides for content to be freely available to everyone after a “trigger event” and ensures an author’s work will be maximally accessible and useful over time.

“To prepare for the publication of SPP, General Healthcare Inc. has decided to partner with CLOCKSS” said Shinichiro Takezawa, CEO. “In order to contribute to the development of science and medicine in Asia, SPP is a comprehensive academic journal based on the concept that to promote Open-Science and industry-university cooperation. There are already more than 400 researchers to cooperate with peer review editing in the world.”

CLOCKSS Executive Director Randy S. Kiefer adds, “The CLOCKSS Archive welcomes SPP with their coverage of scientific information into the community’s archive.
