The CLOCKSS Archive is pleased to announce that it has partnered with the Journal of Evolution of Medical and Dental Sciences to preserve their ejournal in CLOCKSS’s geographically and geopolitically distributed network of redundant archive nodes, located at 12 major research libraries around the world. This action provides for content to be freely available to everyone after a “trigger event” and ensures an author’s work will be maximally accessible and useful over time.
“We are happy to partner with CLOCKSS to preserve articles published by our authors” said Dr. A. Sridhar, Executive Editor. “It complements our desire to promote and publish research, and make it available to other researchers around the world. By archiving in CLOCKSS we think we have taken another step towards doing justice to our authors who trust us and publish their scholarly articles in JEMDS.”
CLOCKSS Executive Director Randy S. Kiefer adds, “The CLOCKSS Archive welcomes the Journal of Evolution of Medical and Dental Sciences with their coverage of medical and dental sciences, into the community’s archive. By archiving with CLOCKSS, the Journal of Evolution of Medical and Dental Sciences has ensured that the scholarship in their publications will be available for a worldwide audience now and in the future in a manner that secures them for the long-term good of scholars.”
