The CLOCKSS Archive is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Liverpool University Press (LUP) to preserve their Translated Texts for Historians E-Library in CLOCKSS’s geographically and geopolitically distributed network of redundant archive nodes, located at 12 major research libraries around the world. This action provides for content to be freely available to everyone after a “trigger event” and ensures an author’s work will be maximally accessible and useful over time.
Jenny Howard, Sales and Marketing Director at LUP said, “Our Translated Texts for Historians E-Library is an important digital resource for scholars, and we are very pleased to partner with CLOCKSS to ensure its future preservation.”
CLOCKSS Executive Director Randy S. Kiefer adds, “The CLOCKSS Archive welcomes Liverpool University Press’ digital collection of Translated Texts for Historians into the community’s archive. We are delighted to grow our relationship with LUP, who has been preserving ejournals with us since 2009. By archiving with CLOCKSS, Liverpool University Press has ensured that the scholarship in their publications is secured for future generations of scholars.”
