The CLOCKSS Archive is pleased to announce that it has partnered with VGTU Press to preserve their ejournals and ebooks in CLOCKSS’s geographically and geopolitically distributed network of redundant archive nodes, located at 12 major research libraries around the world. This action provides for content to be freely available to everyone after a “trigger event” and ensures an author’s work will be maximally accessible and useful over time.
VGTU Press director Eleonora Dagiene says, “It is an honor for VGTU Press to become a partner with CLOCKSS archive. It is very important to be able to provide permanent accessibility to electronic ebooks and ejournals and we are happy, that our partnership with CLOCKSS archive will strengthen the reliability of VGTU Press in our clients’ eyes”.
CLOCKSS Executive Director Randy S. Kiefer adds, “The CLOCKSS Archive welcomes VGTU Press’s ejournals and ebooks with their coverage of technological, natural, social and humanitarian sciences, into the community’s archive. By archiving with CLOCKSS, VGTU Press has ensured that the scholarship in their publications will continue to remain widely available to the academic community in the future.
