The CLOCKSS Archive is pleased to announce that it has partnered with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education to preserve the Journal of Graduate Medical Education in CLOCKSS’s geographically and geopolitically distributed network of redundant archive nodes, located at 12 major research libraries around the world. This action provides for content to be freely available to everyone after a “trigger event” and ensures an author’s work will be maximally accessible and useful over time.
CLOCKSS Executive Director Randy S. Kiefer adds, “The CLOCKSS Archive welcomes the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education’s Journal of Graduate Medical Education with their coverage of medicine, into the community’s archive. By archiving with CLOCKSS, the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education has ensured that the scholarship in the Journal of Graduate Medical Education will continue to remain widely available to the academic community in the future. We are grateful, as the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education joins the CLOCKSS Archive, for its generous willingness to preserve its ejournals in a way that secures them for the long-term good of scholars worldwide.”
